Do you accept dogs at your park?
Yes! We are happy to report that we are pet friendly on all our Caravan and Camping sites with Management approval. We also have a pet-friendly cabin available. Fetch more information over on our Dog Friendly page.
Do you allow camp fires?
Sorry, we do not permit campfires of any kind on sites, including cooking over coal or open flame. In the cooler months, we have a large communal fire pit, located near the Camp Kitchen, which our staff light of an afternoon (usually Friday and Saturday) and keep well stocked with firewood. This is subject to local weather and fire conditions and social distancing. Please note that generators are also not permitted at any time, as we are surrounded by a residential area.
What hours is your office open?
Regular office hours are 8am to 5pm every day. Seasonal office hours of 9am to 5pm do apply, please check our current hours with staff.
When can I check-in and when do I have to check-out?
After 3pm for villas and ensuite sites, after 11am for powered and unpowered sites. Check-out is strictly 10am.
Can I arrive after the office is closed?
Yes, we can make arrangements when we know in advance. If you are arriving outside office hours, please call us during reception hours on 02 4997 5520 to make alternate arrangements. All bookings must be paid in full.

What facilities are available nearby?

Do we need to bring our own linen for the cabin accommodation?
No, we provide all linen for all beds, along with bath towels. Please bring your own pool/beach towels.
Do you have any wheelchair accessible accommodation?
We don’t have any at this stage. There is an accessible bathroom in the main campground amenities for guests staying on our caravan and camping sites.
What size are your sites for caravans, motorhomes, big rigs and camper trailers?
We have a wide range of powered caravan and camping sites. Please check with the park to ensure you book the right size site for your requirements.
Do you have a dump point?
Yes, we have a dump point for guests staying in the park.
How many amenities blocks do you have?
We have 2 amenities blocks. More information is available here.
Can we have visitors?
Day visitors are welcome (subject to seasonal restrictions*) and there is a day pass available which is $10 per person. Day visitors are permitted in the park until 8pm, after that time they would be charged a nightly rate. Children must be fully supervised by their parent/guardian and an adult must be present in the pool area at all times. All visitors vehicles must remain outside the boom gate. Please call and check with Reception if we are allowing day visitors on 02 4997 5520.
*We don’t allow day visitors through the school holidays and it is dependent on how busy the park is on the weekends.
Do you have noise restrictions?
Please consider other park guests. NO loud noise of loud music permitted between 10pm - 7am.
Do you have washing machines and dryers for guest use and how much does it cost?
There is a guest laundry located in the amenities block nearest to the office. The machines take $1 and $2 coins only and it is $4 per load (wash or dry).
Do you have BBQ facilities?
There are 3 BBQ areas in the park, plus the BBQ plates in the Camp Kitchen.
Do you have a camp kitchen?
We have covered, open-air camp kitchen including a cooktop, BBQ plates, toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave. Guests should bring along their own cooking gear and utensils.
Do you have internet access?
Yes, there is free WiFi, up to 500MB per day. It is good for checking email and social media, but not suitable for streaming services such as Netflix. Please get your code from Reception.
Do you have a kiosk?
Yes we do, open the same as the office hours. Find out more here.
Do you have a restaurant or cafe on site?
We have a wonderful coffee van that is open in school holidays and weekends from 7.30am (times vary for closing). There is no restaurant here at the park, however, we do recommend the local Karuah RSL, which has a free courtesy bus. For more dining and takeaway ideas, head over to our Places to Eat & Drink page.
What facilities do you have for children?
There's plenty to keep the kids entertained, including a giant jumping pillow, children’s playground and a splash play area at the pool.
Do you allow children to ride bikes, scooter, rip sticks and roller blades?
Absolutely! We ask that they wear helmets. No bikes, roller skates/blades, skateboards, scooters, etc are permitted on or near the jumping pillow. We also have super-fun pedal go-karts available for hire from Reception.
Do you have a pool?
Yes we do. The pool hours are 8am to 8pm, however hours are subject to change. There is no glass, food or drink allowed in the pool area and children under 12 must be supervised by an adult who is a competent swimmer.
How far are you from the beach?
The closest patrolled swimming beaches are at Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens, approximately 25 minutes drive from us. Patrols vary by season. There is also a tidal pool in Karuah located at Longworth Park.

Do you get sandflies?
From time to time when there is hot and humid weather, we do get sandflies in this tidal mangrove river area. All our accommodation is fitted with insect screens, but we do suggest for those who react to sandflies to be prepared with insect spray if you are enjoying the balcony and outdoors around sunset when they are most active. We have insect repellent available at Reception and there is also a Pharmacy and IGA supermarket in town.

Adjacent to the park is the Karuah Waters Estate, which is an over 50's manufactured home village boasting new modular, architect-designed park homes and is operated under the NSW Government Residential Communities Act.
